That most romantic of days

bjornwildeSo today is my and my wife's tenth anniversary and how do I spend it? With five hours in Urgent Care! \o/
Nothing is wrong and I seem fine but earlier today, like 11am I was standing and talking to my daughter when my head started swimming like I had stood up too fast or had just run up a flight of stairs. Sitting down didn't clear it up so we checked my temperature (no fever though it was a little high) and took my blood pressure via one of those at home devices that reads from your wrist...93/67?!? That's really low (though it could have been the batteries) so off I went to UC.
At Urgent Care my blood pressure was better, 127/64 and my heart rate was fine. Physical exam showed nothing, blood glucose check was fine as was an ECG. Chest X-ray was okay as well and just as a final check they did some blood work and electrolytes were fine as was my blood glucose...so weird mystery that seemed to go no where. The doctor was happy I came in on the off chance it had been a quiet heart attack.
The feeling did pass once I was in the waiting room and hasn't been back so who knows. Watch and wait I suppose. Got lots of reading done in Fort Freak which is a collection of short stories in George RR Martin's Wild Card world. Good stuff if you like crime noir, Gotham Central or Astro City, i.e. real life stories in a super hero universe.
