I'll be in my blanket fort
Mar. 20th, 2013 10:55 am I can feel my enthusiasm for work leaking from my ears. I've been getting manuals ready to be released into the wild (are all the fonts there? colors good? body copy paired with the correct image? correct icons? etc.) for nearly three months now and it is getting very old. I want to do other things now, okay? Thanks.
Started listening to Twilight Watch and it will be nice to get in Anton's head again. Unfortunately, it was on my tablet and so the volume wasn't the best. I will be transferring it to my iPod which I can hook up to my car's stereo tonight but this means I'm not likely to listen to it on my way home. And since i am carpooling Thursday and Friday, this means I won't get back to Anton until next week unless I do a bike ride this weekend.
I do have something called A Little Night Magic which looks cheesy and fun. I also have Gilda Joyce: The Ladies of the Lake.
I want tacos.

Although, maybe his new murder mys... wait, who am I kidding, this is a murder mystery by Matthew Reilly there's bound to be some deaths on the protagonist's side. The only way out of that would be if it's a solo protagonist, which is possible, but somehow, I doubt it.
And now, before I forget, he has written a novel for younger kids which saw no deaths amongst any of the major characters. But, as I say, it was aimed at preteens rather than his usual mid-to-late-teens audience. Still scary as anything else he's written at one moment, and there's definitely mortal danger involved, but no deaths.
