Dear body, allergies
May. 3rd, 2013 11:13 am or whatever the heck is going on, F-you. I had plans today that did not involve nausea and headaches.
Not yours,
Me
ETA: I have to share a new book series I've discovered, the Grimnoir Chronicles. Urban fantasy set in the 1930s but to be honest it's feeling more like Wild Cards than an urban fantasy. Actives are people who have one magical talent and with one exception, no one has more than one magical talent. The series is also an alternate history as Hitler was killed and Japan is the rising aggressor, having already taken parts of China and Korea. Tesla also built his Peace Rays though Edison seems to have been more popular since Actives who can channel lightening are called Edisons and not Telsas. The book is written by the same author of the Monster Hunter International series so there's some gun loving plus the main character is a hulking brute who's smarter than he looks; the guy does seem to have a type. Still, a fun seriers and worth a read. Still on the first book and I will be picking up the next.
