Music makes the world a better place
Oct. 7th, 2013 09:22 am This morning did not start well for me and my gamma levels sky rocketed. Instead of soldiering on though, I decided to listen to music (a particularly sing along mix from 8tracks) and it managed to lift my spirits tremendously. I need to keep a weather eye on my mood though as I just got a call from my CPAP supplier (who has been calling me like every friggin' day despite my telling the automated call I didn't need anything) offering me my "free supplies". I say yes (so they will stop calling and hey, free stuff right?) then she starting talking co-pay. Wait, what? You just said they were free? No thanks, I'm good. And I am actually. But it left me feeling Grr again.
In other news, internet here at work seems to have finally settled. It was being buggy as all get go but now seems stable.
I also read the entirety of Gotham Central this weekend and damn that was a good series. It says a lot when it left me wanting to read 52 just to find out more of Renee's story. I do wonder what happened to Dorie (? I can't remember the actual name of the pastry chef, girl friend/partner). It also left me needing to read No Man's Land.
I also need to pick up more of Hellboy and B.P.R.D. Having read four TPB has left me wanting more.
