I want to write up an OOM to get Mulan started on her Realm hoping.
Am I doing either of these? No, I am goofing off on Tumblr. OK, time to outline Mulan's time in Oz, so I have an idea of what I'm to write, and then tag threads. I'd tag threads first but then I know I'd ignore Mulan.
ETA: I think I might just steal elements of Return to Oz or Oz the Great and Powerful.
ETAA: And it occurs to me I should use these OOMs as a sort of character quest for Mulan, to get her to a place where she will realize how much Aurora means to her and that she should be honest with her feelings when next they met.
Characters for her quest in Oz:
A clockwork person to hint at her adherence to honor or perhaps being a warrior and nothing more.
An animate china doll (like in Oz, the Great and Powerful) to represent her fear of love or breaking her heart.
Jack Pumpkinhead. Don't know what he will represent but I like the idea so he's in.
Or, what if she bumps into Mushu (with a different name of course)?
I also wonder if I shouldn't pick characters more in line with her culture.
