Yeah, old voices (a lesbian, dragon slaying, blacksmith), new voices (a ragtag, rebel leader of a mutant people & a transgender dragon slaying khan), and I've already got a full roster. I need to pick a day and do a sandbox EP.
BTW, sorry for Quin disappearing. I am busy tonight but would like to try again this week.
The first is Sarah Beauhall, which is a great book series, if it does tend to edge into erotic/fetish territory. I must admit half the temptation with her is the chance to use P!nk as a PB.
The second is John Young who is from The Tomorrow People, a sort of YA X-Men/Heroes mashup.
And the last is Alesha, Who Smiles At Death from an upcoming Magic: The Gathering series coming at the end of this month. The also has a short story, The Truth of Names, which I love.
It occurs to me I should also warn you that Sarah is a mess in her first book, in fact she explodes into a bit of self destructive behavior for a chapter or two. She was raised in a fundamentalist home, very Westboro Baptist kind of deal, and hasn't really accepted herself or her sexuality. She gets better with great character development (IMHO) but the author doesn't flinch at the pain and hate she has for herself, at first, and the damage such can have to those close to you.
In case you were planning on reading the books. They are very much based on Wagner's mythos and lots of fun if you go for that.
