bjornwilde I love it when a thread gives you an epiphany about your character.
One thing I haven't been to sure of how to handle with Izana is how they are much for fighting. In a brawl, they get pushed aside. In a sorte, they don't do a whole lot, and later when they become a full pilot, they freak out that their days are numbered. This last is an easy thing to understand as the pilot survival rate per sorte is something like 5%.
Anyway, talking Stacker, I had the flash that Izana is the reluctant hero to Nagate's embracing the role, which makes a lot of sense for things that happen in canon.
I also realized that if they end up in the Drift with someone, that could add to canon as well since later on they end up being able to interface with the garde directly to their consciousness; making them an amazing pilot, though still not the best fighter.
Ok, back to work so I can get back to threading.
