Marvel Comics: I can't help feeling that they've jumped the shark for me with the whole Secret Wars/Battleworld thing, or as I am calling it House of Doom. Much like House of M, I am enjoying the mini-series titles and not bothering to read the main title.
A-Force has potential but it's seeming like Marvel's take on Themyscira.
Ghost Racers was fun but I don't think I'll be reading the next one. I was expecting it to be more Mad Max but it's more Speed Racer. Nothing wrong with that, I just wanted a larger world that one race track.
Captain Marvel and the Carol Corps is awesome and fun. Think Pacific theater during WW2 but with Carol and the Banshee squadron vs HYDRA, or so it is seeming.
Marvel Zombies was another that is fun and I will be continuing. Elsa Bloodstone. Does there need to be more?
Inferno was great and tripped all my nostalgia buttons. Definitely will be reading, though I hope the F4 make an appearance since they were part of the original story.
Secret Wars prediction: By the end of the series, it will be revealed this is the reality Doom was a god in at the end of Hickman's run of the F4. The one where he said he found godhood beneath him.
I had an epiphany with Izana last night. I keep thinking I needed to start their canon but kept balking. Finally realized it's because I don't really want to tell Nagate's story. Which made me realize I should write Izana's story rather than just shifting the camera to their POV and showing what canon already has. This will be more challenging but ultimately more rewarding I think.
