I seem to be in a doldrums state. Just sailing along as the wind (i.e. events) pushes me. I have been productive at work, which is rewarding, but creatively I can't seem to find any steam. I keep having pups poke me for threads, but something (fear? ennui?) keeps me from acting on the poking.

Anyway. Saw some icons of Honey Lemon from Big Hero 6 and my muse went, that's me. Which works pretty well as a visual.

Why do I keep finding animes that have great premises (Monster Musume, Trinity Seven, but that turn out to be ecchi style? For those not familiar with anime terms (I'm still learning myself), ecchi is akin to softcore porn, or PG-13, and that's about as far as it tends to go. 

Is it time for Steven Universe yet?

Watched a few episodes of the old Ultraman and reveled in the strings and firecracker special effects.

I think tomorrow I am going to outline fic ideas I have and just tag into a thread. Or maybe EP Selina. I need a kick in the pants.

ETA: Dear Citizen's United. While I agree with your goals, and have donated money to support them, I do not want 5 emails a day.

With the cast list completed, I had the urge to make a Star Wars OOC comm, but then I realized about half the SW cast are my pups.

I think there is a Star Wars OOC comm, or at least there was back in the days of LJ when we had a huge Star Wars cast. Now that I think about it, I'm not sure it made the jump to DW, since most SW muns were gone by then, alas. far_far_aways?

Edit: yep, checked, the comm definitely didn't get made on DW! looking at the old LJ comm was a blast from the past, though, haha.

Maybe I should see if any of the other SW pups want to revive it. The main thing I am thinking is with the split between canon and legends, i.e. Disney/Lucas controled vs EU, it might be nice to have a place to hash out who is from which and what Force users are from which and can do what, since canon Force users don't seem to have as wide a variety of force skills.
