 I have an idea for tomorrow's DE, inspired by Maru's AU topics from earlier in the week, but I am not sure if it is something that would be appropriate. Basic idea is race bent variations of your pups, whether ethnically (different skin tones) or species (aliens, elves, etc). But with the quagmire of racial feelings, I don't know that it would be a safe topic.

Thoughts? I'm not dead set on the idea, I just think it has potential.

DE is meant to be fun -- if it feels so problematic to you, then it might be better not to do it. Race means very different things to people in different parts of the world, too. It might be a can of worms not worth opening.-

Good point. I just realized I was thinking of it from a US centric POV and not even thinking about other places. I think I will skip it and leave the race-bending to Tumblr.

Yeah, I'm with Maru on this! Interesting topic, but maybe not a fluffy one.

Maybe a less fraught one would be to ask what your pup's ethnicity/race is in the context of their world, for identity and/or others' views of them, and how that affects them? Then it's looking at the characters' own existing context, instead of racebending everybody.
