So sleep deprived CW thoughts

bjornwilde First up, LOVED it I didn't even realize it was nearly 3 hours until the end of the credits and I looked at my watch. Amazing pacing. I don't think there was one bit that dragged.
If the story had a weak point, I would say it was Zemo. Great human character, not so sure he was super villain material, tbh. I saw a lot of people talking online about how his plan made no sense and relied too much on assumptions he'd have no way of knowing. Like Tony flying to Russia at the end. I think it was more he was lucky. I think his whole point to being in Russia was to get the evidence that Bucky killed the Starks so he could reveal it later. Tony showing up was just a lucky coincidence he took advantage of. Why do I think he wasn't super villain material? He only succeeded because no one saw him and his plans. Which maybe was the point and sort of proved the need for oversight for the super heroes? I don't know. He was still good! Don't get me wrong.
Maybe him being so normal was the point, which I could get behind. I'm still a little confused as to how he knew about the Winter Soldier. I mean, wasn't the Soldier supposed to be a ghost story not too many believed in?
Sam, my man! LOVED every scene he was in and I totally see why he and Bucky had friction. I think I need to reassess my head canon that Sam was busy with a mission with Bucky during the Sokovian thing. Maybe Bucky lead Sam to the hypothetical HYDRA base to test him?
This was totally Natasha! And Clint! I swear those two were working together, trying to diffuse the situation.
Spider-man....this is the best Parker we have ever seen. I like Garfield, but he read more as a college aged Spidey. Holland totally read as a 15 year old in over his head. And hey, Mr. We-Need-To-Work-With-The-Law Stark, transporting a minor to another country without their guardian's permission is likely a felony.
Lang...Lang...you should've shrunk down when all the Reg folks were tag teaming you. You even said you couldn't hold the giant size for long and that fight felt more then a few minutes.
Black Panther...OMG, FLAWLESS! And him helping Bucky at the end!
And fuck you, Stark, and your repulsor blast to Sam's face. He wasn't the one who shot Rhodey out of the sky, ass. (I may be takingthat bit a little personally.)
And hey, while I think some oversight would be good for the Avengers, I can't help thinking the document needed clauses for immediate action with a review after the fact. I think a big part of the problem, as the Accords were presented, is that they didn't define what the Avengers were. Are they an armed force? Are they a police force? First responders? Defining them would go a lot farther in how they were managed than just drafting up "you can't do anything unless we tell you to".

And I know a lot of people were down on the Steve and Sharon kiss, but come on. It was several days after the funeral and both were in emotionally charged situations. I can see if they slept together, it being a bad thing, but a kiss is just a kiss. Should they be careful moving forward? Hell yes.
