bjornwildeMy Valkyrie playlist is now 18 songs and is a hot mess as I keep throwing songs I think of into it and haven't taken the time to sit down with the application on my laptop to organize them into any logical order.
I've also ordered one of the Funko mini fig of her, because I am weak. I'd order the actual 7" action figure but it comes with a Thor, is $40, and I don't have space in my cube for extra figures.
And some thoughts of ships people are trying with Valkyrie. Behind a cut as I don't think they're spoilers, but I'd rather play safe.
Fandom keeps shipping her with Thor or Loki, and I'm just like, ooookaaay. IMHO, there was no romance or chemistry in the film. She seemed like she might have been impressed with Loki's fighting skills, but not much else*. There was one flash of her and Thor getting into each other's personal space by accident, and Thor seemed much more fanboy to her than her to him. But really, she showed more of a connection with Hulk, and later Banner, then either of the boys. So yeah, not my head canon. I think/hope that in Infinity War, Valkyrie ends up good friends with Hulk/Banner as he needs friends who aren't afraid of him and don't see him as a tool to use.
*For some reason, I did go into the movie expecting to end up shipping Val and Loki.
