bjornwildeOK, I know a sample size of 4 is no way to reach a conclusion, but this was too perfect.
I made a FB post about how I'd never known potatoes had flowers (with a picture from my garden of said flowers), not being of a botanical bent and only recently grown to appreciate gardening. Four people comments, two family and two friends.
Both family members said basically, "How could you not know?!?"
Both friends said, "And they make beautiful flowers too!"
