Second, an awesome Marvel comic idea, the Ladies of SHIELD, and a nice redesign on Spider-Woman's costume.

 The preview for the next Avengers Assemble, i.e. the closest thing we have to a Spider-Woman solo title, is up and I keep getting caught with Jess feelings. At the start of this event, the writer, Kelly Sue Deconnick, was quoted as saying Jess goes through life with a mixture of insecurity and hubris. The first has been evident as she parted with her ex-boyfriend and amnesiac best friend for the big, hopeless battle in space. This preview is after the big battle and at this point...well, read the preview. Those last two panels are the hubris showing. Jess letting go of her anger and pain at Clint and Carol to say, "Oh Hell no. They are not lost."

Looking forward to reading this next week and threading it when we get there.

Also I keep thinking headcanony thoughts about Jessica. That she has some sort of mental disorder, like borderline sociopathy or somesuch. The basic idea is that she doesn't have an ingrained moral compass nor emotion connection to society yet is a hero as a continual choice and the fact the individuals she cares about are heroes as well. Basically that Carol and Logan and Ben Grimm and I guess Clint now are her moral compass.

I'm still working on it but I figure with all the HYDRA programming and her weird childhood, she has to be wired differently. Which is making me wonder what Hannibal would think of her.

Marvel.com: Is Jessica still carrying a lot of baggage from Secret Invasion? (The current storyline/event has the Avengers teaming up with skrulls).

 I need to read the entire issue, but based on these pages, I'm tempted to have Jess have some feels for Danny Rand. Nothing she acts on since I like Misty Knight and Danny but I'll be damned if Jess/Danny doesn't make more sense to me than Jess/Clint.

Listening to SHakespeare's Sister and chugging through work this morning. The offsite yesterday was good though the "fun" games at the end to break up the day were pointlessly embarrassing, a three legged race would have had more dignity. I do need to figure out a growth plan with substance though which will be hard as I am so used to my job being one without growth potential. Not sure what to do but I will be looking at my strengths and lacks as well as past yearly reviews to see if anything inspires me. I doubt I could get backing for "develop my writing skills through online roleplaying."

I have an idea for Jess to look into a new costume and have been collecting costume redesigns online. I think I like this one best but this is a close second, while this one is impractical though pretty. I really like this MCU styled one,though I don't know that it works for 616. Then there are these two 3D modeled ones that are skirting the edge of stripper costume, the first isn't bad if the webs were placed differently and the second is too close to Parker's.
