Things I learned this weekend.
Jan. 27th, 2008 05:48 pmBecareful about giving in to the urge to ductape your child...they made decide it's too much fun. Though the look on Katie's face when I stretched out a 4 foot long piece of ductape sure made it worth it for
zoe_me. I wonder what Katie's reaction to the tearing sound of ductape coming off the roll will be next time she hears it.
I can do a decent job with upolstry...just not the zippers. Zippers are evil. But we now have two foam cube ottomans covered in leopard print fleece.
I need to buy a bunch of cheap zippers and muslin and practice, practice, practice.
With the trips this weekend around San Jose to fabric stores for notions and wool yarn I have discovered that I'm not that big a fan of Hancock Fabrics. Though Hancock has the largest selection of fabrics, Joann's has better prints and Beverly's has the best buttons.
