Also I'd like to offer up a suggestion of a theme for fic today of comfort or togetherness, because damn it, the world may be awful but people are wonderful.

In other news, I've decided to just do my best with tagging regardless of work being crazy. The crazy doesn't seem to be passing, so rather than wait for it to clear, I'll just do my best.

Alex and Sean had moved on, not wanting the fight any more, but Hank had stayed to help Charles teach these new mutants. When Jean came into the lab with not only a sandwich for him but freshly baked cookies, he found he still had a home.

She sat in the jeep like an idiot chewing on the steak he had cooked her. She had run, from herself, from him and the chance for love. Why was she always running? Why shouldn't she let him catch her? Sighing, she locked the jeep and walked back despite her pride and fear.

"I know but that is life yes? But I will be here as will Svetlana." Anton knew it was a lie, the boy would become a Dark Other but for now the lie was comfort.

These are all wonderful. Anton is charming and the Thalia one makes me smile. I keep wanting to read Andrea's books after your fills. Which one should I start with?

Well Magic Bites is the first book in the series but Andrea doesn't show up until book two which is Magic Burns. I'm glad I make her world tempting. = D

I'll add them to my list, not that I need more books to read but books.

I doubt there is such a thing as too many books to read. = ]

I actually have two different to read lists (Good Reads & Audible) and yet I still browse when I am at the library.

Oh yes, I browse at Barnes and Nobles as well as various used bookstores, can never have too many books.

Oftentimes, doing one's best through the crazy is our best option. Sending good thoughts nonetheless!

Sam felt guilty and moped for days before Ramon finally confronted him. When he found out Sam was blaming himself for Ramon's condition, he sighed. "You're my best friend but you're an idiot. I chose to come after you. You didn't force me and you sure as hell didn't plot to become a necromancer or be kidnapped."

Sometimes, while Antimony was at classes and he was alone, Reynardine would sleep and dream. He would remember the dragon and fly, drinking from the clouds.

The blindfold whisked away with a squeal and Raphael spread his arms wide. "What do you think? I know it'll take some work but it shouldn't be too bad."

She made him wait, just to be a little cruel. "Yes. We can make this home."

Oh oh oh, I love all of these! Sam looks very interesting, I can't wait to see more with him in it, and really love that little snippet. Mulan + Belle = LOVE, always. I adore them. Reynardine gave me chills, such beautiful wordplay there. And ahhh, Andrea. *snicker* That one was such a perfect end to them all, filled with lightness and hope. Thank you!

They do have a lot of ick to go through first, but I figured I've focused enough on that. = ]

And thank you for the Reynardine comments. FYI, Sam comes from Hold Me Closer Necromancer and Necromancing The Stone by Lish McBride. VERY worth a read if you like Christopher Moore's work. She's not quite as mad cap as him but still a sit-com vib of urban fantasy.

On another note, I really hope the rumor I heard about Aurora and Mulan returning for season 3 is true. = )

And I wish we had more adventures of Belle and Mulan. I loved their dynamic.

THIS, on both notes! I don't think Mulan and Aurora's story is done by any stretch; s3 will be poor if they're absent.

WEll my rumor comes from a twitter Q&A of one of the writers I believe and his quote was something to the effect of "You have not seen the last of Mulan and Aurora." Considering this was before official confirmation of a season three, I am trying not to get my hopes up. = ]

Aww, thank you! I will. I had a migraine yesterday that lasted until I fell asleep, so I'm always a little fuzzy and out of it the next day. Already feeling better, and by tomorrow I should be back to normal. :)
