 I just got through making the nummiest butternut squash soup! We had several of the squash from a veggie farm box and so rather than let them go to waste, I looked online for a recipe and came across this one for spiced butternut squash soup. I adapted it for The Wife by substituting a cup of Greek yogurt in place of the half-in-half and am very happy with the results. I likely should have measured the spices though as it has a lot fo kick, I fear I may have used .25 teaspoon rather than .125 since I was eyeballing it. The end result is very pumpkin pie like but not sweet and in soup form rather than pie.

And now I have soup for my vacation!
