Almost Human prediction

Saw the pilot today and based on it and the most recent episode, I think Dorian was decommissioned after killing a suspect while protecting the Captain. I am basing this on the fact he was decommissioned 4 years ago, the Captain said he was special and, in the recent episode, he chased down a van racing away from a crime scene (after the people inside had kidnapped and threatened a fellow detective) and flipped it once he caught up to it. That last is important since he has never been shown to have any strength or speed beyond human until that point. I also don't think he's used a firearm but I'd need to go back to rewatch to make sure.
