 Been burnt lately on RPG and I don't quite know why. I've had urges to tag in but never follow through. I think I'm going to throw Hank into a sandbox post X-Men First Class just to see if that stirs anything. I suspect it's my listening to audiobooks at work since the stories have been sucking me in and I can't seem to multitask "reading" and writing at the same time.

The past four days now I've gone out and walked at lunch which has been a great help. Been mostly seeing water fowl out on the bay and a murder of crows that likes to hang out. Yesterday I did see a hawk being chased by said crows and a turkey vulture (which the crows left alone). I almost didn't go today but convinced myself half an hour was a small price to give my health.

I started Code Name Verity and dang, that book sucks you in straight away. I can't help picturing Simmons from Agents of SHIELD as the main character due to the narration.

OK, off to throw Hank into the deep end.

*hugs* Sometimes RP is slow, nothing wrong with that, don't put too much pressure on yourself. The idea is to enjoy yourself. I'll happily tag Hank just let me know who you want.

Also I've been reading and loving Night Watch.

That's a tough one. Charles is tempting (though I don't know that you want to try out the depressed Charles the next movie is hinting at) but so is your new pup.

I think I need to reread Night Watch. After seeing the movie, I'm having a bit of disconnect with the latest book.

*eyes the movie* I have no idea how they're going to get from the end of XMFC to the new movie and I'm currently incredibly wary of all of it. I want it to be good but more of what I see makes me think I'm going to end up disagreeing. Just Charles' look worries me a lot, but I'm trying to not go no, never until I've seen how they explain it all. I have my own ideas about post canon Charles and how he acts with depressed.

At what point in time are you playing Hank from, a year, two year or much farther on? I should go look at the EP.

I'm thinking maybe 1967-68. Right in the heart of the Civil Rights movement. He's reading MLK's last book and some book of Malcom X's and can't help compare them to mutant rights, in case you opt for Charles.

A lot of the stuff I've seen for Hank is confusing also. Like the human self and the Hulk-like torn clothes when they show him furry. It's making me wonder if he is shifting back and forth? Which sort of makes sense given Raven's powers but it is still weird. I'm also a little confused by how casual and up beat he seems in the human stills. If Charles is having such a hard time, I can't imagine Hank isn't also. But yes, we shall see what they make and adapt when the time comes.

This reminds me of a plot point I want to discuss with all of us.
