What if Ethan Chandler is a skin-walker instead of a were-wolf? They keep bringing up Native Americans in the first season and in tomorrow nights episode Ethan does a sage purification, if promos are to be believed.

I may have found the perfect excuse to learn French, Rollo! OK, it's more a geeky excuse.

Ethan seems to have ties to the Southwest, hence Navajo concepts -- but isn't a skinwalker somebody who changes on purposes and who works hard to achieve that power? Ethan doesn't seem to be aware of what he does; he's trying to discover what is happening with him.

This is very true. Skin-walkers also don't seem to be tied to moon cycles. Maybe it's a curse from a skin-walker or the writers have their own version.

Either way, Ethan definitely doesn't know what happens.
