 So does anyone know of a Chrome app that is somewhat like Meebo? In other words, one thing I can use to sign on with AIM and GChat? Trying to make myself more available to folks but trying to avoid signing into AOL.

ETA: And I'm giving Trillian a shot, though it only seems to be able to log into AIM and gets bounced every time I try to link my GChat ID. >:/

If you figure out the GChat trick, I'd be interested in hearing it! I use Adium myself (Mac platform), but used to use Trillian.

Haven't figured it out yet, but maybe I should try Adium since I'm on a MAC at work and it'd be nice to have all my chats web-based and in one tab.

I did see this forum thread about Trillian and GChat, but it didn't work for me:

... oh in that case -- I am fond of Adium. Haven't tried GChat with it but I'm not aware immediately of any reason why it wouldn't work.

Alas, it does not seem to have a web based version. Work is tight with security and so I can't instal anything on my desktop.
