More on Thorn...

bjornwildeMostly I just want to see them together and give myself pros and cons. I still have one more book to read before I do anything more, so keeping my ferret brain busy with face casting. The main things I am hoping find are an actor who can range from nice, vicious, harmless, and sneaky, plus more. The character is basically a James Bond/Black Widow mash-up and so needs to be able to "be" different people.
Alycia Debnam Carey: I like her but not too certain she has enough fantasy looks. Also while she gives off a vibe of nice or vicious, I don't know if I get harmless from her.
Erin Kellyman: I really like her look and she has some range from what I can find online. Disadvantage is I'd be limited with expressions as before Solo, she seems to play modern roles. She also is kind of young, byt then again a half-elf will look younger.
Hannah John-Kamen: I like her and she seems to have a lot of roles, non of which are fantasy but I can always use prop icons to back things up. She might be a bit default kick-ass in looks. And thanks for the suggestion,hamsterwoman , though i did see you deleted it before I could reply.
Tuppence Middleton: Bonus, fantasy source for icons. She has lots of expressions and doesn't seem default bad-ass in appearance. I mean for Thorn to blend in since she's meant to be a spy. Tuppence has also been in a lot of things, from Sense8 to Black Mirror lately, so lots to work with.

Date: 2018-06-07 02:54 pm (UTC)I do like Erin Kellyman, but I'm worried she's too young. She's only 20 now and while canon doesn't give an age to Thorn, I think she'd have to be mid-20s or 30s due to time spent training. Still, I do have the pass with elven blood for physical appearance. ; p
